Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about how VYORA generates music, how credits and plans work, and what you can do with the tracks you create.
What is VYORA?
VYORA is a lo-fi music platform for real spaces. You can stream curated lo-fi selections on the site and, once signed in, generate original lo-fi tracks with the AI Studio. Generated tracks are saved to your library, where you can play, download and — on plans that include it — download a commercial license certificate.
How does AI music generation work?
You describe the mood, setting or style you want in the AI Studio. VYORA sends that prompt to its third-party AI music provider, which renders an original audio track. The request moves through a visible status flow — submitting, generating, finalising, then ready — and the finished audio is archived to VYORA storage and attached to your library along with automatically matched cover artwork.
Generation is asynchronous. You can navigate away or refresh the page; the status keeps updating and the track appears in your library when it is ready.
How do credits work?
There are two separate sources of generation capacity:
- Your monthly plan allowance — resets each billing period and is used first.
- Purchased credits — one-time packs that are used only after the monthly allowance is exhausted.
Purchased credits are one-time purchases, not a subscription. They never renew automatically, they are kept separate from your plan allowance, and buying credits does not change your plan or grant a Business plan license.
How many credits does one generation cost?
One generation costs 10 credits, and credits are only used when your monthly plan allowance for the current period has already been used.
What happens if a generation fails?
If the provider returns an error or the job does not complete, the track is marked as failed in your library with the reason recorded. Nothing is left stuck in a pending state — the status flow ends in either “ready” or “failed”.
Do failed generations consume credits?
No. Capacity is reserved when a generation starts and released back when that generation is marked failed. If the reservation came from purchased credits, the credits are returned to your balance; if it came from your monthly allowance, the allowance is restored. The release is recorded once per generation, so a failure can never be refunded twice.
Do purchased credits expire?
No. Purchased credits do not expire and do not renew. They remain on your balance until you use them.
What credit packs are available?
| Pack | Credits | Price | Generations |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 50 | $9 | 5 |
| Creator | 100 | $15 | 10 |
| Power | 250 | $29 | 25 |
| Pro | 500 | $49 | 50 |
| Studio | 1,000 | $90 | 100 |
Subscription plans are listed separately on the pricing section: Free $0, Creator $12/ month, Business $69/ month.
How are payments processed?
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions and one-time credit purchases are completed on Stripe Checkout, and subscription management — payment methods, invoices and cancellation — happens in the Stripe Customer Billing Portal, which you can open from your account page.
Credits and plan status are only granted after Stripe confirms the payment through a verified webhook. A return URL, a session ID or a page refresh on its own never grants credits or plan access.
Does VYORA store my card details?
No. Card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout and billing portal and are handled by Stripe. VYORA’s database stores your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, purchase records and credit ledger entries — not card numbers.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are handled case by case together with the payment processor. If a credit purchase is refunded through Stripe, VYORA automatically revokes the corresponding credits from your balance.
Can I use generated music commercially?
Commercial use depends on the plan that was active when the track was generated. The Free plan is for personal and testing use only. Paid plans include commercial use, and a license certificate is issued for tracks generated while a paid plan is active. Full detail is on the Licensing page.
Purchased credits add generation capacity only. They do not upgrade your plan and do not add a commercial license to tracks generated on the Free plan.
Can I use tracks on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram?
Yes, where the track was generated under a plan that includes commercial use, including monetised channels. Note that automated content-identification systems on those platforms may still flag AI-generated audio; VYORA cannot guarantee how any third-party platform’s detection systems behave.
Can I distribute tracks to Spotify or Apple Music?
Distribution to streaming services is a use case allowed only under a plan that includes commercial use, and it is always subject to the distributor’s and the platform’s own rules on AI-generated music. VYORA does not grant exclusivity, so you should not register tracks with any content-ID, royalty-collection or exclusivity programme that requires exclusive rights. See Licensing for the restrictions.
Who owns AI-generated music?
Copyright in purely AI-generated material is unsettled and varies by country — in some jurisdictions such output may not be protected by copyright at all. VYORA therefore grants you a license to use the tracks you generate under its Terms; it does not and cannot promise that you hold, or can obtain, copyright ownership or exclusive rights in them. Tracks are not exclusive to you.
I can’t sign in or my account isn’t working
Sign-in uses email and password with a password reset flow — use “Forgot password” on the sign-in page to receive a reset link by email. If the reset link has expired, request a new one. If your plan or credit balance looks wrong after a payment, open your account page: entitlement and balances refresh automatically once the payment webhook is confirmed.
How do I contact support?
You can reach us through the account page in VYORA, or by replying to the receipt email sent by our payment processor after a purchase.
